About Me and My Motivation
My passion for health, fitness and the human body began in my youth, leading me to teach adults Massage studies and Anatomy of the human body.
I established and ran a Training Academy in Berkshire, delivering a wide range of courses to a varied age group and aptitudes. l am proud of the Therapists who I have qualified and they are all now hugely successful in industry.
Fitness and health started as a hobby, and soon developed into part of my life, living and breathing all aspects of a healthy lifestyle.
With years of feeding my hunger for fitness and my constant inquisitiveness for nourishing the mind and body through physical movement, wholesome and nutritious food and the holistic approach to mental wellbeing led me to pursue my dream sharing my zestfulness to others.
Becoming certified in Pilates and my strong knowledge of the anatomy of the human body gave me a foundation to develop my skills within body movement and alignment.
I trained in Body Balance, which left me craving to offer more creative and bespoke Yoga practice.
My love for breath led flowing, meditative movements offering alignment cues in postures that build physical and mental strength, inspired me to undergo my Vinyasa Flow Yoga training in Southern Spain.
The Vinyasa Yoga training exceeded any expectations I had, offering me the skills to intelligently sequence a Vinyasa flow class with a blend of Iyengar, Ashtanga , Kundalini and Forrest Yoga styles as well as how the physical practice goes hand in hand with the philosophy and nutritional aspects.
Not only did the training allow growth in my own yoga practice, and the fundamental knowledge, and hands on assists to teach, but also led me on a journey of self-discovery, remembering the purpose of life and how wonderfully precious it is.
My path continues as I seek to share my passion with others, offering a practice to create a stronger, fitter future within the body, mind and soul.
